Caring for animals, serving our community

Animal control services

Blue Mountain Humane Society collaborates with outside agencies to provide essential support for the welfare and safety of animals in Walla Walla County. While we do not handle law enforcement matters, we offer a range of services aimed at promoting responsible pet ownership, reuniting lost pets with their families, and facilitating adoptions. Our mission is to work hand-in-hand with local authorities and residents to create a compassionate and safe environment for animals in need.

Our dedicated team is committed to proactive animal welfare initiatives. We provide education on responsible pet ownership, operate a pet clinic for vaccinations and spaying/neutering services, and facilitate dog licensing. Additionally, we work closely with animal control agencies to assist with stray animal intake. Our services to these agencies include offering temporary shelter, providing essential veterinary care, and offering behavioral support to ensure the well-being of these animals.
