Dog Licensing Information for Walla Walla County Residents

About 95 percent of lost animals that wear current identification are reunited with their owners.

To comply with Walla Walla and College Place ordinances, dogs aged four months and older residing within city limits require licensing. Similarly, Walla Walla County mandates licensing for dogs six months and older within the designated dog control zones, which include Touchet, Wallula, Burbank, and Walla Walla. Even for predominantly indoor pets, licensing is mandatory, with a current dog license tag serving as proof.
