Make Every Step Count with Community Fundraising!

Last year, our community fundraising efforts helped us raise more than $36,000 for animals in need. This year, we’re setting our sights even higher! By joining the 12th Annual Dog Jog, you’ll not only participate in a fun, pet-friendly event — you’ll also have the chance to fundraise for Blue Mountain Humane Society and make a lasting impact on the lives of shelter pets.

What is Community Fundraising?

When you register, you can create a personal or team fundraising page in just a few minutes. Share your link with friends, family, coworkers, and fellow pet lovers and invite them to give in support of your Dog Jog participation. Small gifts add up quickly and directly fund shelter care, veterinary treatment, spay and neuter surgeries, and adoption services. We provide simple tools and ready-to-use templates to make it easy, and we recognize top fundraisers and milestone achievements with prizes and event-day shoutouts. Every dollar you raise helps ensure animals in our community receive the care they need while they wait for loving homes.

How to Get Started

  1. Register for Dog Jog – Sign up and create your personal fundraising page.

  2. Tell Your Story – Share why you’re participating and why BMHS’s mission matters to you.

  3. Spread the Word – Use social media, email, and word-of-mouth to invite your community to donate.

  4. Team Up! – Fundraise solo or start a team with friends, coworkers, or fellow animal lovers.

  5. Celebrate Your Impact – Watch your donations grow and know that you’re changing lives!
