BMHS's Strategic Vision and Stakeholder Insights

At Blue Mountain Humane Society, we are dedicated to promoting kindness, preventing cruelty, and fostering the human-animal bond. Our mission is to end pet overpopulation and homelessness while inspiring a compassionate community. We are excited to share our strategic vision and stakeholder insights.

Our Strategic Plan (2024-2027)

Our Three-Year Strategic Plan outlines a comprehensive roadmap to guide BMHS from 2024 to 2027. This plan focuses on three key objectives:

  • Ensure Financial Sustainability: Establish a diverse and robust funding model to support our mission.

  • Keep More Pets with Families: Implement strategies that reduce the number of impounded and surrendered pets.

  • Enhance Adoptability of Our Animals: Proactively engage with the community to improve the adoptability of our animals.

This strategic framework is designed to ensure BMHS remains a community-centered organization, proactively supporting animal welfare through prevention, care, and education.
