Paul
Paul has been at BMHS since December, 2024.
Paul is a single guy looking for a home. At 7 years and 9 months old, this small black-and-white Domestic Shorthair mix has spent more than 100 days with us, patiently waiting for his perfect match.
Paul likes to observe his surroundings first—but the wait is so worth it. Once Paul decides you’re one of the good ones, he transforms into a purring, biscuit-making machine. He enjoys lap time, gentle pets, and quiet companionship, all on his own terms. While he’s not fond of being picked up, he’ll gladly curl up in your lap when he’s ready.
Paul is on the lookout for a patient and understanding family that will let him blossom at his pace. Think quiet places to nap, slow introductions, and lots of gentle encouragement. Paul is also a fan of yummy treats, chasing toys, and chatting with people he trusts. He’s used to living indoors, gets along with other cats, and is reliably litter box trained. He prefers a dog-free environment.
