BMHS fundraising guidelines and agreement

Thank you for your interest in fundraising on behalf of the Blue Mountain Humane Society. To ensure a successful and mutually beneficial fundraising event, we request that you review and agree to the following guidelines:

  1. Purpose:

    • All fundraising activities should be conducted with the primary goal of supporting the Blue Mountain Humane Society's mission to promote animal welfare and provide care for animals in need.

  2. Compliance with Laws and Regulations:

    • Fundraisers must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulations governing fundraising activities, including obtaining any necessary permits or licenses.

  3. Branding and Use of Logo:

    • The Blue Mountain Humane Society's logo may only be used with the explicit written permission of the organization. Please contact us for logo usage guidelines and approval.

  4. Fundraising Approvals:

    • Fundraisers must obtain prior approval from the Blue Mountain Humane Society before initiating any fundraising activities on behalf of the organization.

  5. Financial Responsibility:

    • Fundraisers are responsible for all financial aspects of their events, including the collection, management, and disbursement of funds. Funds raised should be delivered promptly to the Blue Mountain Humane Society as agreed upon.

  6. Transparent Accounting:

    • Accurate records of all income and expenses related to the fundraising event should be maintained and made available upon request by the Blue Mountain Humane Society.

  7. Donor Information:

    • Donor privacy and confidentiality should be respected. Any personal information collected during the fundraising event should be handled securely and used only for the intended purposes.

  8. Representation and Communication:

    • Fundraisers should clearly communicate to donors that they are fundraising on behalf of the Blue Mountain Humane Society and that their event is not an official activity of the organization.

  9. Liability:

    • Fundraisers agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Blue Mountain Humane Society, its directors, officers, employees, and volunteers from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the fundraising event.

By submitting the fundraiser form, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with the fundraising guidelines outlined above. You also affirm that you will act in the best interest of the Blue Mountain Humane Society throughout the fundraising process.

Please note that submission of this agreement does not guarantee approval for the fundraising event. The Blue Mountain Humane Society will review the proposal and contact you regarding the status of your request.
