BMHS Guest Code of Conduct 

To ensure the well-being of our animals, staff, and fellow guests, we ask that you adhere to the following code of conduct during your visit: 

Respect Animal Welfare: 

  • Do not tap on kennels, cages, or enclosures, as it can distress the animals. 

  • Do not feed the animals unless authorized by our staff. The animals diets are carefully managed for their health. 

Supervise Children: 

  • For the safety of both the children and our animals, children 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times. 

  • We appreciate if you could help maintain a calm and gentle environment by keeping children's voices at a considerate level. 

Hygiene and Safety: 

  • Please use the provided hand sanitizers before and after visiting with the animals. This helps prevent the potential spread of germs. 

  • For your safety and the animals', do not put your fingers or hands inside the enclosures. 

Ask for Assistance: 

  • Our dedicated staff members are readily available to assist you. Feel free to ask any questions about the animals, their history, or behavior. 

  • If you wish to interact with an animal, please wait for staff approval and guidance. 

Follow Staff Instructions: 

  • Please follow any instructions provided by our staff members promptly and courteously. 

  • If a staff member indicates that an area is restricted, we request your cooperation for the safety and comfort of everyone. 

Adoption Process: 

  • If you are interested in adopting an animal, our adoption counselors are here to guide you through the process and requirements. 

By entering our premises, you acknowledge your understanding of and agreement to abide by this code of conduct. Your support significantly contributes to our efforts in caring for our furry friends and finding them loving homes.
